The blood and water that flowed from Jesus side (Jn. 19:34) is intimately and inextricably related to Solomon’s stone temple because Jesus saw himself as the temple incarnated, and one that was about to be spiritualized through a crucifixion, as foreseen in the transfiguration vision of Matthew 17:2 and Mark 9:2.
